My Visual language project, Exploring detailing and styling

 

Designed with space saving in mind, a retractable external handle and power cable allows the hedge trimmer to remain compact. The internal handle also acts as a guide for the power lead.

 

The Body was first painted red then masked off and painted textured silver. This highlights the little details on the body.

 

The Front and rear faces of the body were done on the CNC machine from a file generated on Solidworks. The rest of the body was assembled around them. The model is made from model board. As it gives a smooth seamless finish.
